History

Started in Valleyfield Qc, Oxygene Regional has been in business for 50 years. Supplying a large part of the province of Quebec, Oxygene Regional also services the south-western part of Ontario with its branch in Cornwall. Along with the support of his wife Marielle, Joe Gaboury, Oxygene Regional’s founding father was able to dedicate his life to his business. His hard work and vision helped solidify his business as a leader in the welding supply industry.

As a testament to the business, its first ever employee, Denis Rochefort still thrives to grow the business as part of the sales team. With its primary identity of being a family business, Oxygene Regional welcomed the 2nd generation to be part of its development. In 1979 Pierre Gaboury joined the company and later purchased it with, his brother-in-law, Serge Laplante. Maryse Gaboury, Pierre’s wife, has been with the company since 1976 and has be an integral part of the operations and administration team. Today Pierre Gaboury is the active President and has solidified the existence and growth of Oxygene Regional with the appointment of, his son, Yannick Gaboury to Director of Sales. The next generation of the ownership group has started with Yannick, along with his business partner, Guy Courchesne buying into the company.
